FDY, or Fully Drawn Yarn production line, is a one step melt spinning equipment. It produces finished yarn ready for direct weaving with no further secondary processing required. The FDY line manufactures yarn for apparel fabrics, linings, sewing threads, home textiles such as towels and carpets, as well as industrial yarns and cords.

Our FDY machines feature processing speeds ranging from 3800 m/min to 4500 m/min, with a maximum beam length of 1800 mm. Both cam type and dual rotor winders are available. As your trusted supplier, CTMTC’s FDY production line adopts the integrated one step spin draw process: polyester chips are dried and melt extruded, followed by spinning, cross air quenching, oiling and pre interlacing. The yarn then undergoes on line drawing and heat setting via dual godet rolls, before being wound into packages by high speed winders. Final inspection and packaging yield FDY finished yarn ready for direct weaving.
