In 2018, shipments of new staple spindles and open rotors to the global spinning industry increased by 1.5% and 13%, respectively. The report covers six major sectors of the textile machinery industry, namely spinning, stretching, weaving, large diameter circular knitting machines, flat knitting machines and finishing. A summary of the results for each category is provided below.
